I drank tea out of a teapot yesterday at A & E's house and decided to drag my tea pot out b/c it tasted so good.....
I am making tea in it now...I am a little worried b/c I washed it cuz its been up on the top shelf for years unused but its dark in here and I just woke up....so I don't think it was the best washing.....hopefully there will be no soap flavor in my tea...or floaty dead moths.
Gawd I love sleep...I don't sleep LONG generally {I can get by on 5-6 hrs a night for some time} but fuck I love just waking up on my own (aka no alarm blaring hideously) without having to jump up and get ready 4 work...me and the rest of the humans in the world....not unique that way.
Today I go to BC Pension Corp to do some testing for an hour to determine if I am too retarded to work there...seeing as how the office dohdoh said it was easy I am not too worried about it...its just 1 hour. The testing I do Tuesday for something else is 2 hrs and I have done it before and its a little more serious...I am not fond of typing tests. I am not a great typist AT ALL...so typing tests being that they are timed and recording your accuracy stress me the fuck out...the last one I took informed me that the usually 2 spaces after a period were NOT correct, there should only be 1 space...yeah TRY TO DO THAT DURING A TEST WHEN U HAVE ALWAYS DONE 2 SPACES! lol A stenographer I will never be hahaha
Oh this tea is divine...
I bought the tea MG drinks...(Yes I realize how incredibly adolescent that sounds and is)...called Yorkshire tea...its pretty decent...its pricey though so I dunno if I will always have some in the house....Yesterday on my travels with my favorite lesbos to the anarchy book store...I forget what its called....anyhow..I found a copy of UNDER THE VOLCANO by Malcolm Lowry...yes that's right MG recommended it as a read...DON'T JUDGE ME! I value his opinion!
Graeme is sword crazy right now...I blame the Wii...he was eBay-ing for Wii paraphernalia and someone in Hong Kong used Wii instead of WWII in their ad or something and he stumbled upon a store full of katana japanese swords...well omfg...it is now the 2nd coming of christ waiting for his purchase to arrive so he can analyze it to death...its funny to see him so INTO something...he is lucky he missed my recent MG freak out episode as the concert approached...it is kind of the same obsessive, freak of nature behavior...what I like best is he isn't even trying to hide his freakness...
OK I did it..I opened up my presents from my aunty pam already...the same day she left them...whatever - it is a perk to being a grown up...I don't like opening presents xmas day bc I like taking pics of Ayla....(that's my excuse - screw off haha)...anyhow we now have a 3rd Wii controller and nunchucker and the Super Mario Bros game....SAWEEEEETTT!!!

Parcels from my mom arrived. All I will say is I think my mom thinks Ayla is still 8 yrs old...Ayla was 8 when we moved from PR and I seriously think my mother still sees her as an 8 yr old kid judging by the box of weirdness she sent.

1st off...the new comments...ugh. Sorry. Haloscan was taken over by JS Kit apparently and I had the choice to switch to JS Kit and maintain all previous comments or not do so and lose them all if I went back to the blogspot commenting feature. I am not finding JS Kit user friendly WHATSOEVER but I think I tweaked it to be as simple as it can be for commenters so I encourage u to go in and fart around with them please.
Been a really productive weekend...Friday went out with Donna to Logan's for some punk rock goodness. Didn't feel like being there once I got there but the mosh pit was so entertaining I stayed til 1 am...haven't seen a pit like that in a long while...Andrea and her tube top even got in there....saw her hit the floor once and the rest of the time she was a 1 handed mosher, using her one hand to try and keep her tube top up...I did witness it getting yanked down once and the fact it was only once is a true miracle.
Saturday I was outta the house by 8 am with Lisa running 3847583745 errands...got a lot of shit done and all by noon.
I am still pissed off that my asshole cat took my ear buds off the kitchen table and chewed them up...dick move cat....total dick move. No catnip 4 u at xmas u little jerk. Was not happy to replace them since I just got them and they aren't cheap.
The rest of Saturday I was cleaning...Aunty Pam and Uncle Jim came over for a short visit (the cat allergy is a real bitch if they dont medicate prior to coming over)...was a nice visit, won't be seeing them for xmas so it was nice they were able to come by. Oh by the way the box of Purdy's chocolate is picked clean of anything I like....and I swear its the most sugar/chocolate I have eaten since July....NO ONE EVER BRING PURDY'S MILK CHOCOLATE OVER HERE! EVER!!!
James Franco was on SNL last night and I was conflicted bc Pearl Jam was on Austin City Limits for fucks sake at the same time for half of the show so PJ won out that 1st half hour...what a great venue for a band like that....and on TV, Id like to see it all as I missed the 1st half hour. HERE IT IS (its a whole hour!!) Fuck yeah 20 yrs later and they still make me swoon. Fuck.
Ayla's being a teenager these days....I will leave it at that. Gawd I hate it when school's out...HATE IT...I used to like it now it just means party time for all the little assholes and it irritates me.
Monday I have "testing" to do up at the BC Pension Corp for a job....Tuesday I have testing to do for the clerical pool...I am pretty much being a realist about this situation and being that there are only 6 working days to be placed it wont happen and I think I am on my own for getting a job...we are not the only ones unplaced of the total that were laid off either I just found out so I don't feel near as ripped off...it is rather pathetic all around b/c there are empty positions but all the ministries don't work together (SHOCKING!) so the organization of getting anything workable is impossible. I don't feel fucked up about the lay off part of this all, shit happens, its part of life but this PROCESS....fuck it makes me want to sue someone...and I am NOT that kind of person...I am really bitter about every fucking union due I have ever paid I will tell u that much b/c they aren't doing SHIT for me right now.
10 days til G comes for NY's eve...he he he It is gunna be Wii showdown time let me tell you...Wii Boxing...and G thinks his fancy new Wii boxing gloves are gunna make him conquerer of all...Well...we will just see about that won't we....says the angry grrl who loves punching ppl. I am planning on making a fruity alcohol ridden fruit punch...and having a very good time this NY's with my lovely boy Graeme so providing he is still speaking to me by then after our argument about the SPARKLY VAMPIRE/PEDOPHILE topic it will be all good.
Xmas dinner stuff is all ready...we are NOT doing turkey....this year its chicken cordon blue...with mashed taters, gravy, stuffing, vegs and fresh biscuits...Ayla is in charge of dessert...she will either make brownies or tarts. :o)
Simple and easy and I am hoping she will hang out and have some fun with me...Wii fun or card game or whatever...
