Anyone have an opinion on this? From what ive read methadone is as bad if not worse for a person...it just seems that shifting someone from junk to methadone just keeps them *managable*...which I guess isnt a bad thing BUT...u know ive lived down here in junkie-ville for 3ish yrs now...and i live near a methadone pharmacy and its the same ppl now (plus more im sure) as when we 1st moved here...so im wondering...isnt the THEORY of methadone to wean ppl off junk, thus wean them off the methadone? When does the weaning start? I dont get it...
ok sure i have no real idea what kind of treatment these ppl are getting but the few ppl i have known on methadone have never been encouraged to wean off...so really...wtf? what a lazy ass approach to trying to get addicts well...and im not some dumbshit who thinks all ppl could be clean/sober and brand new...i think some ppl are just broken...sad as it is...but jesus...methadone seems like a lazy/go-nowhere treatment...

Ayla has informed me i have freakishly small ears...as I was ignoring her earlier she stared at my head too long and focussed in on my ears and she now claims i am deformed....better then having big ears right? Thank gawd my hair is long....I now have an ear complex.
Poor TYDES has to go to Disneyland for a family vacation. I can not imagine a
worse holiday...seriously...the only way my kids going there is if her dad/grandparents take her (they live there) cuz i dont wanna be anywhere near the place! (Oh but CONGRATS on the new job!!! That ought to lessen the Disney blow a little dont u think? lol ok maybe not)ERICA is in Germany now I think...she had a great week in England and now gets to do her european jaunt b4 hitting Ireland etc...I drool @ the thought of such a trip...I think when Ayla's grown etc that is gunna be a plan of mine...save 4 a trip to the UK....drool drool.
