Went and saw the Wrestler...wont divulge any spoiler details but I will say it is definitely worth seeing....even in the theatre....it is definitely intense and well done...
you spend the movie feeling incredibly sad for the wrestler yet at the end of the movie I sat there thinkin "what a fucking asshole".... the abrupt ending kinda leaves u gasping for more....so yer left to sort it out in yer head...hence the ASSHOLE statement.
Mickey Rourke was a nice looking guy...and he would likely be a nice looking older man now HAD HE NOT FUCKED HIS FACE UP.....jesus h man...put yer nose back on!!! I spent the whole movie distracted by his face...I kept dissecting it....cheek implants...CHECK....eye lift...CHECK....

In its obituary of poet Charles Bukowski, the screenwriter of Barfly (1987), "The New York Post" used a photo of Rourke as Henry Chinaski in the film instead of a photo of the poet himself.
How did I not know this!!!!!!!!!!? Now I have to go try and find barfly and rewatch it!
