I had a great weekend...I will spare you the gory details of course but it was fun and I look fwd to a repeat visit from Master Graeme for New Years, for longer this time...which could work against me as the longer he is around me the most insane he may find me...muhahahahahaha

We went to the Irish Times Pub and omg they had these things called Toads in a Hole...which are little mini Yorkshire puddings stuffed with beef & sausage on top of a garlic-y mash potatoes and gravy on top...they were TASTY. Aside from the hideously cute name, which is reason enough to eat them, they are good!

Ayla had a great time at Aunty Pam's by the sounds of it....Pam took her xmas shopping since we are not going to PR for xmas...Ayla came home sporting diamond earrings, new runners, some clothes – gawd knows what else...quite tickled! I made sure to comment about her BLOOD DIAMONDS in order to keep her happiness balanced hahaha Sounds like they had good fun though alright...Oh my kid ripped me off for return bus fare I gave her...that little ass. (They drove her back)

Work is a wee bit hectic right now...I have been sending emails and trying to get info for a variety of topics regarding lay off, pension payout, placement etc. My option letter is sent in and done...I have opted for placement (giving up severance) and my last day – if no placement is made – is Dec 31 2009. Aunty Pam talked me out of severance with her usual LOGICAL thought process...I am an emotional thinker usually...I know this is a huge shock to you all...but it is true (HA H A HA HA HHA HA HHAA)...so it is nice that is out of the way and now it's just a matter of waiting and seeing what happens...being the squeaky wheel etc.

It was a frigid 0 degrees this morning...which I will take over the -25 my Alberta friends and family are living with right now...gawd damn...0 degrees here is the be all end all – gawd I just hope it will not snow here...it gets STUPID as shit here when it snows...no one can drive, no one shovels their sidewalks so its treacherous to walk anywhere...I should get those little thingers that strap on to your shows so u have better grip!

Adele is coming this weekend...exciting!! Ohhh I wonder what kind of shenanigans we can get up to? Hmmm...
