mystery
Funny story for ya....
Was chatting with the family recently, talking about placentas...b/c that's what we do (haha) and we were discussing where Ayla's was, Madelyn's and where new baby Sidney's was gunna go...
they all started talking about Ayla's being buried under the juniper tree in Pam's yard and im thinking "HUH!?"...when Ayla turned 2 i took her frozen placenta out of the freezer, thawed it out with Donna Monty by my side....checked it out cuz it was pretty cool...u could see the sac still where she lived for 40 weeks in my belly etc...and then we wandered down to the beach....set it on a rock and crawled back into the bush and sat waiting....just to see what became of it...it took a while but eventually the eagles we knew were perched way above us got interested...in one very big dramatic swoop an eagle flew over the rock we set it on, snatched it and was gone. It was pretty cool. Task complete.
Now this isnt something I imagined...I have a witness yet the family believes that same placenta is under the juniper tree in Pam's yard (now Kelly's yard)...so wtf IS under that juniper tree I wonder cuz I know its NOT the placenta...and the cord was also spoken for and given to a local artist to incorporate into some art for us (holy dont i sound like a fucking hippy dippy dingbat haha)...on our travels next week I am gunna bring it up with all of us there to try and get to the bottom of it....but no I wont call CSI to unearth the mystery item under the juniper...
I am beyond mortified that I feel like im slipping back into being sicker again...ive just gotten rid of this sore throat and its not entirely ever gone away from over 1 month ago....I BLAME THE MEXICANS!!!! haha j/k (sort of)
Man it was warm out yesterday....when I left work yesterday it was a cruel reminder of whats to come...my anxiety level over it is already heightened....gawd i hate summer.
There is a school trip to Nice, France for Ayla next summer, 2 weeks...most EXCELLENT opportunity....only 15 spots open so I dont want to piss around and miss out on it over her waffling so I am gunna make herdecide & promise in blood this w/e to commit to it...

A BEAUTIFUL SETTING ~ Nice was founded around 350 BC by the Greek seafarers who has settled Marseille. In 154 BC the Greeks were followed by the Romans, who settled farther uphill around what is now Cimiez, site of a number of Roman ruins. By the 10th., century Nice was ruled by the counts of Provence, and in 1388 the refused to recognize the count Louis de Anjou, and turned to Amadeus VII of the House of Savoy. Nice was occupied several times by the French but did not become part of France until 1860 when Napoleon III stroke a deal with House of Savoy. (the agreement is known as the Treaty of Turin).
